Leading global communications and brand image for growth and impact

Pilar Corrias

As Head of Communications, the role was defined by leading the gallery’s public presence and expanding its international reach. Responsibilities spanned artist profile development, strategic press outreach, email marketing and social media content strategy, and the coordination of print publications and archiving. A multi-channel approach included content delivery across digital platforms. This included the introduction of a more dynamic and international video series to spotlight the gallery’s artists, designed to enhance visibility, brand voice, and drive sales.

A key milestone during this period was the launch of the gallery’s large-scale flagship space at 51 Conduit Street in Mayfair, positioning Pilar Corrias as a leading gallery in London’s art market. The opening was supported by a full rebrand and a refreshed digital strategy, contributing to a 1.5k increase in Instagram followers during Frieze London 2023. The launch was supported by a high-profile, 150-person seated dinner, led and coordinated in-house with external suppliers as a cornerstone event to mark this major occasion in the gallery’s history.
